Coordinator - Enterprise Technology

Angie’s List is looking for a department coordinator to help ensure the IT department is fully able to support the needs of a growing business.  The department coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties to support the office operations of the department.


  • Coordinates logistics for department events

  • Books and coordinates travel details for staff as needed

  • Assists with new hire communications and logistics

  • Coordinate meeting schedules and communications with team

  • Prepares confidential documents, agendas, and presentations to be presented both internally and externally

  • Develop and implement new process and procedure to increase efficiency

  • Conducts research, compiles data, and prepares documents

  • Files and retrieves corporate documents, records, and reports

  • Maintain files; make copies and other clerical duties, as assigned

  • Tracks business requirements and project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines

  • Assist in coordinating and providing support for Change and SDLC process committees

  • Responsible IT procurement process

  • Tracks spending as it relates to budgets

  • Coordinated and assist in developing IT budgets

  • Additional responsibilities, as assigned


  • 5+ years experience in serving as a office administrator

  • Possession of an undergraduate degree in business, management, or related field

  • Previous experience in an IT setting strongly preferred

  • IT background preferred


  • Skills in coordinating activities, active listening, and monitoring performance

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to have in-depth process discussions when needed

  • Skills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision-making

  • Skills in general office software (ex:  MS Office), email, spreadsheets, image editing, calendars, phone systems and more

  • Ability to interact at all levels of the company and with external parties in a professional manner maintaining effective communication, both written and spoken

  • Ability to be versatile and handle multiple activities, re-prioritizations and changes

  • Ability to organize information and have attention to detail and accurately follow procedures

  • Ability to maintain self motivation and to work independently and in team environments

  • Ability to work with outside vendors and individuals in a professional manner
