The Discovery Representative – Lead Generation contacts businesses nationwide that Angie’s List members have identified as the best and most likely to participate in our marketing solutions. This sales professional is responsible for engaging top-rated companies, gauging & developing interest in advertising, and providing a qualified lead to a senior salesperson.
Contact service providers, determine the decision making process, generate interest in advertising options and discover the needs of each business through effective questioning.
Investigate targeted service providers through the use of previous Salesforce notes, the company website, and additional public information.
Must be able to overcome objections and set expectations for discussion around the value of Angie’s list and our products, ensuring a seamless experience for the service provider.
Utilize Salesforce to note the results of discussions with each service provider.
- Provide a best-in-class customer experience to former, current, and prospective service providers.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills required.
Possession of High School Diploma. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Telephone sales and/or business to business sales preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills are required.
Strong computer skills preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and goal oriented environment.
